Applications are being accepted by the Medina County Drug Task Force for the position of criminal narcotics agent / investigator. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; valid Ohio Peace Officer Certification; valid Ohio driver's license; and possess the physical ability to perform essential functions of the job. Applicants must complete an extensive background investigation to include the successful passing of polygraph, medical and psychological examinations. Prior law enforcement investigative or drug enforcement experience and training are preferred, but not required. Employees must reside within a 25 mile radius of the city of Medina, or relocate to the required area within 6 months of employment. The anticipated employment start date for this position is July 1, 2016. Starting pay is $24.44 per hour with step increases at 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years of employment.
